About

Tawdra Kandle is a USA Today bestselling romance author.

She loves unlikely pairings, strong women, sexy guys, hot love scenes and just enough conflict to make it interesting. Her books include YA paranormal romance,  NA paranormal and contemporary romance, and adult contemporary and paramystery romance. She lives in central Florida with a husband, kids, sweet pup and too many cats. And yeah, she rocks purple hair.

About Me:

I am a writer.

After years of concentrating on non-fiction, mostly parenting and homeschool related articles, I realized a dream and finished my first full-length novel in 2008.

THE KING SERIES is a quartet of Young Adult paranormal romance books. Since the publication of FEARLESS in December, 2011, I have released the rest of Tasmyn’s story as well as an adult contemporary romance (THE POSSE), a New Adult contemporary romance (BEST SERVED COLD) and two short stories.

In my non-writing hours, I am a mother of five (four biological, one in-law) and a wife of one. I homeschool the youngest one, since all the others have flown the coop, figuratively if not literally. I also have. . wait for it. . .five cats and one sweet puppy.

Writing, reading and traveling are my passions.  I love and will devour anything by Anne Rice, Diana Gabaldon, Nora Roberts, Janet Evanovitch, Stephen King, Anne Perry, Julia Spencer-Fleming. . .there too many books and not enough time!

Peace, love and romance~

  1. Great website and excellent series so far. Both books were great and I am looking forward to the rest. Your family (those that I have met) are beautiful by the way, and I love the hair!

      1. Hello, I absolutely love your diagnosis love and keeping score series. I was sad to have them both end. At the end of “game of inches” you mention a new series starting called Varsity Rules and I was wondering if that was still the case. I am looking forward to reading it.
        Thank you

  2. At the end of The Anti Cinderella conquers the world, there is a teaser for Shelby’s story A Dozen Dreams which was to be coming in 2020. What happened to it?

    1. Hi, Linda! Well, it’s a long story, but the short version is that I ended up inheriting the presidency is a very large author organization unexpectedly in early January 2020, and that responsibility, plus the complications of planning and running a conference in the middle of a pandemic, ended up sapping up more of my writing time than I’d anticipated. I had to truncate my planned release schedule. I would love to say that Shelby will get her story in 2021, but no promises. However, her story is one that is very important to me, so it’s coming. Sooner than later, I hope. Thanks for reaching out!

    1. Hi, Melissa~
For a bunch of author-stuff related reasons, I re-released the entire Diagnosis: Love series under a different pen name this year. I’m sorry you’ve been looking for it! I’m emailing you with a link to get Noah’s books. Let me know if you don’t receive the email!
